Abstract
Introduction: The traditional orchards of Qazvin, with their historical significance, represent the identity of this city. Despite their great importance in terms of landscape, environmental, historical, and other perspectives, sufficient attention has not been paid to their planning from a holistic viewpoint. One of the latest global approaches to valuable historical gardens is the revitalization of agricultural capabilities through approaches known as urban agriculture. This approach, while preserving the identity of orchards, involves citizen intervention in producing organic products and civil agriculture. It benefits owners and citizens, promotes tourism development, and preserves the environment.

Purpose of the research: The present study aims to utilize the urban agriculture approach in traditional orchards and their immediate texture to preserve and revitalize the traditional orchards of Qazvin.

Methodology: The current research is of an applied and analytical nature. This paper relies on the documentary method and analysis of their results, utilizing survey tools (interviews with officials and stakeholders and questionnaires among residents of the immediate texture of orchards) to investigate the current situation and implementation of the urban agriculture approach in the study area.

Geographical area of research : The traditional orchards of Qazvin cover an area of approximately 3000 hectares, spanning regions of Qazvin with an average depth of 1000 meters. Additionally, the immediate texture of the orchards is somewhat influenced by and affects the orchards.

Result and Discussion: Besides their historical significance, traditional orchards have remarkably positive impacts on Qazvin city. According to the residents, enhancing the beauty of the entrance to Qazvin city is one of these orchards' most significant positive impacts. However, unfortunately, in the respondents' view, the security and presence of people with an addiction in the orchard spaces are not a desirable condition, and 58% of respondents have expressed their willingness to participate in urban agricultural initiatives to improve the situation of the orchards.

Conclusion: Implementing the urban agriculture approach in the traditional orchards of Qazvin and their immediate fabric can provide the necessary framework for engagement in this area and contribute to the preservation and revitalization of the orchards. Based on the conditions of the orchards, such as the willingness of farmers to participate, certain sections of the orchards can be selected as pilots for the implementation of the project. Additionally, in the immediate fabric, besides residential areas, this approach can be implemented in abandoned and vacant lands, parks, municipally-owned spaces, administrative premises, etc
