Identifying effective indicators on rural tourism with emphasis on sustainable tourism approach (Rural areas of Isfahan province)

Abstract
This transition is referred to as sustainable rural tourism as the key highway of the future world in environmental, territorial and local exploitation. The research method in the present study is descriptive-analytical and its type is fundamental in terms of purpose. Documentary and field methods have been used to collect information. The statistical population of 19 selected villages targeted for tourism in Isfahan province and from a total of 2894 households living in rural settlements, with the Cochran's formula, the sample size of 414 households was estimated and these individuals were selected by random sampling method. To test the conceptual model of the research and to investigate the effect of the research dimensions on the development of sustainable rural tourism, the partial least squares technique and Smart PLS software were used. According to the results, the coefficients of t between the main variables of the study are above 2.58, ie there is a significant and direct relationship; Thus, social, economic, environmental and physical dimensions have a positive and significant effect on the development of rural tourism. The value of R2 shows that 94.3% of rural tourism development is explained by achieving four dimensions and the social dimension with a coefficient of 0.89 is more effective than It has had other dimensions on the development of rural tourism. It is suggested that in order to improve the level of rural tourism development, more attention be paid to economic indicators in order to improve the final outcome of sustainable tourism development.
