Providing the development model of ecological and environmental culture in sports (case study: Ministry of Sports and Youth)

Abstract
Introduction: Today, the importance of providing and managing a healthy environment is so evident. It is not possible to protect the earth's environment without the participation of all countries and people. To this end, the principle of public participation in protecting the environment has been emphasized in international legal documents, including the Rio Declaration and Paris 12 Agenda.
Objectives: The aim of the current research is to present the development model of ecological and environmental culture in sports
Methodology: This research is a descriptive-survey study which was carried out by the field method. The statistical population of the research was the sports management experts of the country who are aware of the environment as well as some managers in sports organizations, including the managers of the Ministry of Sports and Youth or Sports Federations. The active federations in the country are 51 so the population for this study are 298 people. According to Cochran's sample size table, 169 people were selected as the research sample based on the available sampling method.
Geographical Context: The geographical area of the current research is the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
Results and Discussion: The results of the analysis showed that the direct effect of ecological development on sustainable development is 0.36 and according to the value (t = 8.48) it is significant at the level of 0.01. Also, the direct effect of environmental development on sustainable development is 0.29 and according to the value (t = 5.79) is significant at the level of 0.01. Also, the amount of explained variance of sustainable development in sports in this research is 0.43, which shows that 43% of the changes in sustainable development in sports are explained by the variables in the model.
Conclusion: The capacities of ecological culture in sports should be used to improving sustainable development. Undoubtedly, the use of ecological and environmental culture in sports can be an important platform for the formation and promotion of sustainable development.
